Anesthesia and Surgery

Our surgical department includes the safest gas anesthesia and the most advanced patient monitoring equipment.  Your pet's vital signs will be monitored by their EKG, heart rate, pulse oximetry, internal body temperature, blood pressure, respiratory rate, and carbon dioxide levels.  Additionally, a trained veterinary technician will manually and visually monitor your pet during surgery and recovery. 


Your pet will wake up wrapped in a warm blanket with a staff member available to provide comfort.  We will provide pain management for your pet prior to waking up.  Preventive pain management has been proven to be the best method of providing pain relief.
